What We Do / Support of Excavation / Custom Modular Walers & Struts
Reusable Hydraulic
Walers & Struts
Modular, engineered shoring for deep excavations. Assemble, adjust and remove without cutting, welding or modifying anything on site.
/ 20 m excavation span*
hydraulic brace and strut rams
shear stop spacing on beams
cutting or welding on site
Simplicity, for complex excavations
- A hydraulic ram unit connected to extension beams with simple, high-strength pinned joints
- Adapts to rectangular, square or multi-sided excavations spanning up to 67 ft / 20 m (subject to site-specific engineering)
- Integrates directly with trench sheet, sheet pile and concrete pile wall systems
- Scales up with hydraulic struts or multi-tier frames for deeper or high-load applications
Faster. Safer. Simpler.
Faster
Components can be assembled, adjusted and removed without cutting, welding or modification on site.
Safer
All major components are pre-engineered and feature integral lifting points, allowing safer handling and reducing the risk of damage.
Simpler
Standardized components make it easy to assemble.

Applications & configurations
Typical applications
- Deep excavations
- Basements and underground structures
- Cofferdams
- Utility installations
- Manholes and chambers
- Tank installations
- Infrastructure and transportation projects
- Large foundation excavations
- Excavations supported by sheet piles
- Soldier pile and lagging or beam-and-plate systems
- Diaphragm and secant pile walls
- Concrete retaining walls
Common configurations
- Perimeter frames for square, rectangular or polygonal excavations
- Corner-braced frames for irregular or multi-sided excavations
- Cross-strutted where additional internal support is required
- Long-span bracing where minimizing internal obstructions is important
- Multiple-level bracing for deeper excavations
- Hybrid configurations combining perimeter braces, cross braces and additional structural members
- Continuous waler systems where modular components form a supported perimeter beam
