Our modern facilities, equipped with state-of-the-art automated and robotic processes, sustain fabrication levels of upwards of 1,000 tons per month. When it comes to large-scale steel fabrication, we have the capacity and capability to take on multiple projects simultaneously, while delivering industry leading efficiency and superior quality to all our customers in the infrastructure markets.
Amenities include:
- 95,000 total square foot of overall fabrication floor
- 10 Overhead cranes, 100T single lift capacity, 31’ under crane hook
- 240T hydraulic dolly system
- In-house blasting and coating facility with media recovery system
- 25 acres lay down graveled area for pre-assembly, staging, storage and just-in-time deliveries

OUR EDGE IN FABRICATION
Our Automation Technology
Included in infraMOD’s lineup of robotic automation equipment is our FastArc, which performs assembly, tack, finish welding, and quality control checks. The FastArc is highly capable and extremely precise. It drastically reduces the amount of time and manual labour required to fabricate the steel, thus resulting in significant labour savings across the board. The FastArc’s advanced technology ensures that the steel is fitted and welded with perfect accuracy. Using laser technology, the robot can scan and identify unique parts, ensuring they all have the correct dimensions and hole placements before fitting and welding them together with two simultaneous robotic welding arms.
infraMOD also has a welding-only robotic cell, the SpeedArc, which is designed to carry out the required welds of overly complex steel that needs to be manually fitted. The SpeedArc works with consistent quality and precision and is able to complete welds more than three times faster than manual operations. It also operates lights-out, meaning it does not require operator involvement, other than to load and unload the cell. Like our other autonomous equipment, the SpeedArc allows us to greatly increase efficiency in our fabrication processes, removing possible delays such as downtime and human error.
Greater Efficiency:
Our robots can run lights-out, only requiring operator involvement for loading/unloading. Their ability to operate 24/7 greatly reduces the downtime that comes with manual labour.
