HOW WE DO IT
By embracing its Methodology, Saskarc is leading the way to a more effective and collaborative approach for specialty temporary works solutions on infrastructure projects. Backed by experts in each discipline: design, pre-construction, fabrication, and installation, our Methodology guarantees the lowest total installed cost, shortest schedule duration and risk mitigation coordinated through three phases.
01 Discover
Scope Definition & Budgeting
A workshop-centric phase to establish clarity across all aspects of the project scope, budget, timeline, and concept.
02 Develop
Design &
Preconstruction
The coordination and integration of all essential components across project management, design, procurement, and fabrication and installation.
03 Deliver
Fabrication and
Logistics
The successful execution of the project by the project fabrication and logistics, team, who have been fully integrated since the outset.

design / engineering
Traditional competitive bidding for infrastructure projects often leads to inefficient, expensive designs. infraMOD methodology prioritizes upfront design, leveraging expert engineers and automated processes to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective fabrication and installation. This approach significantly reduces total installed costs, minimizes project risk, and shortens timelines.

global supply chain
infraMOD has key partnerships in place with major international steel mills in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. We select the best mill for the project based on the project schedule and requirements. This allows us to meet project sustainability and schedule requirements at the lowest cost.

Optimized Fabrication
To ensure that we create the best recipe for each project, infraMOD creates a design that takes advantage of our automated/robotic capabilities, as well as our international mill/fabrication partners. All work is fully compliant with project requirements and any work fabricated outside Canada is 100% backstopped by our Canadian fabrication operation.

Logistics management
Typically, large-scale infrastructure projects occur in congested urban areas with limited space. infraMOD manages the overall logistics process to ensure that the work is prepared well ahead of when it is required on site. It is staged offsite at one of our fabrication locations or local yards and then delivered to the project jobsite for just-in-time delivery.

INSTALLATION EFFICIENCY
The installation process is designed for maximum efficiency, ensuring accurate fit-up during on-site assembly. Modular systems can be trial assembled in the shop prior to delivery, and bolted connections are used wherever possible to minimize the need for specialized labor and equipment. This approach accelerates project timelines, simplifies installation, reduces on-site resource demands, and mitigates risks, resulting in substantial savings of time, effort, and costs.
constructability
infraMOD approaches constructability as a risk-management & productivity discipline. When designing the constructability of temporary steel, our team focuses on whether the system can be safely erected, used, adjusted, and removed within real site constraints. Those include the
- Temporary steel’s purpose and load demands during all construction stages
- Feasibility of erection sequencing with available cranes, access, and shipping limits
- Compatibility with construction equipment and temporary foundations
- Practicality of field connections and the need for adjustability to manage tolerances
- Worker safety, redundancy, and stability during partial installation or removal.
